Lanny Walker

Lanny helped form the 1st Texas Financial Services family in 1999. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1979 from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M Commerce) and has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams as well as the Texas Life and Health Insurance license exam.

Lanny is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Services Institute. He strives to serve others in the same way he would want to be served. He is a trustee at Trinity Baptist Church — a place where he loves to sing — and he enjoys spending time with his family, working in his yard and watching sports. He lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Nina, and together they have five children, four grandchildren and one dog.

*The Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential is awarded exclusively to CPAs by the American Institute of CPAs who have demonstrated considerable expertise and experience in the area of personal financial planning.
